Upgrade your base. Multiply your production. Dominate your setup.
Description

EntityUpgrader

Upgrade Your Deployables. Get More From Your Base.

EntityUpgrader adds a simple and effective progression system to Rust servers, allowing players to upgrade supported deployable entities through 5 performance levels.

Instead of constantly replacing your equipment, players can upgrade their existing deployables to make them work harder, produce more resources, or improve their overall performance.

From furnaces and refineries to water pumps, sprinklers, and composters, EntityUpgrader gives your players a reason to continuously improve and upgrade their bases.

Key Features

5 Upgrade Levels

Every supported entity starts at Level 1 and can be upgraded up to Level 5.

Each level provides a stronger performance multiplier:

LevelMultiplier
Level 11×
Level 22×
Level 34×
Level 46×
Level 58×

Higher levels provide increased productivity and efficiency, making progression meaningful without requiring players to constantly replace their existing equipment.

Supported Entities

EntityUpgrader currently supports:

  • Electric Sprinkler
  • Large Furnace
  • Water Pump
  • Composter
  • Furnace
  • Small Oil Refinery
  • Small Water Catcher
  • Large Water Catcher

Each entity can have its own upgrade progression and performance behavior.

Upgraded production entities can process additional resources during normal operation.

Furnaces

Higher-level furnaces process additional cooking materials while consuming the required fuel accordingly.

Small Water Catcher

Upgraded water catchers receive increased pumping capacity and output flow based on their upgrade level.

Large Water Catcher

Upgraded water catchers receive increased pumping capacity and output flow based on their upgrade level.

Small Oil Refinery

Upgraded refineries process additional crude oil and produce additional low-grade fuel while handling the required wood and charcoal accordingly.

Composters

Higher-level composters process additional compostable materials and increase fertilizer production.

Water Pumps

Upgraded water pumps receive increased pumping capacity and output flow based on their upgrade level.

Sprinklers

Sprinklers receive increased water output per spray based on their upgrade level.

Persistent Upgrade Data

Player progression does not disappear after a server restart.

EntityUpgrader stores upgrade information and restores upgraded entities when the server restarts.

Upgrade levels are associated with the entity and its position, allowing the system to restore the correct upgrade level after a server restart.

Simple Upgrade System

The upgrade system is intentionally simple.

Players with the required permission simply use a Hammer on a supported deployable entity.

If the player has the required upgrade tool or requirements, the entity is upgraded immediately.

The player receives feedback showing:

  • The new upgrade level
  • The current performance multiplier
  • Whether the maximum level has been reached
  • Missing upgrade requirements

No complicated commands are required for the basic upgrade process.

Permission-Based Access

Server owners have full control over who can use the upgrade system.

Permission:

entityupgrader.use

This allows you to decide exactly which players or groups can upgrade deployable entities.

Perfect for:

  • PvE servers
  • Progression servers
  • Economy servers
  • Modded servers
  • VIP systems
  • Reward systems
  • Custom progression systems

Configurable Progression

EntityUpgrader uses a simple configuration system.

Through the prefab mapping, you can define the maximum upgrade level and specify which Rust prefabs are handled by the plugin.

This makes the system flexible and allows supported entities to be controlled through configuration instead of relying on hard-coded player commands.

Designed for Server Progression

EntityUpgrader is more than just a simple production multiplier.

It provides server owners with an additional progression mechanic that can be integrated into existing gameplay and economy systems.

Players can start with standard equipment and gradually improve their production capabilities as they progress.

Build → Upgrade → Improve → Produce More
