Terms of Service

1. Overview

RogueDepot (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”) is a digital marketplace operated by RogueDepot LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of roguedepot.com and all related services. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or API keys with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Buying Digital Products

All purchases on RogueDepot are for digital products (listings, mods, maps, tools, assets, and related files). By purchasing a product, you receive a license to download and use that product as described in its listing. You do not receive ownership of the intellectual property.

• Refunds may be issued at the discretion of the plugin creator. Creators have the ability to process refunds directly through their dashboard. Once a refund is issued, your access to download the plugin will be revoked.
• The Platform may also issue refunds in cases of fraud, billing errors, or at our discretion.
• You may not redistribute, resell, or share purchased files with others unless the creator's license explicitly permits it.
• You may not use purchased products to build competing marketplaces or product listings.
• If a product is removed from the Platform after purchase, you retain access to your downloaded files.

4. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full payment card details — this is handled by our payment processors in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. By making a purchase, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.

Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

5. Chargebacks

Fraudulent chargebacks are a violation of these Terms. If you file a chargeback for a legitimate purchase, your account may be permanently banned. If you have a genuine issue with a purchase, contact us through the support system before initiating a chargeback with your bank.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Spam reviews, messages, or support threads
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or compromise the Platform's security
• Scrape or crawl the Platform without written permission

7. Reviews & Content

Reviews must be honest and based on your actual experience with the product. Fake reviews, review manipulation, or offering incentives for reviews is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.

You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, support threads, messages) but grant RogueDepot a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content on the Platform.

8. API Usage

API access is provided for personal use and tool integration. You may not use the API to scrape the Platform, build competing services, or exceed reasonable rate limits. We reserve the right to revoke API access at any time.

9. Cross-Platform Features

Features that integrate with third-party platforms (such as Codefling import and cross-platform ownership verification) are provided as a convenience. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party platforms. Cross-platform ownership verification is based on your third-party API token and we do not guarantee its accuracy.

10. Intellectual Property & DMCA

If you believe a product on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may file a DMCA takedown notice through our DMCA process. We will investigate and take appropriate action. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

Filing a false DMCA claim is a violation of federal law and these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or server downtime caused by products purchased on the Platform.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Upon termination, your license to use purchased products survives but your access to the Platform does not.
