Creator Agreement

1. Overview

This Creator Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you (“Creator”, “you”) and RogueDepot LLC (“Platform”, “we”, “us”). By activating a creator account and listing products on roguedepot.com, you agree to this Agreement in addition to the general Terms of Service.

2. What You Can Sell

You may list and sell digital products including but not limited to: listings, mods, maps, tools, assets, configurations, scripts, and related digital files for supported games. All products must:

• Be your original work, or work you have legal rights to distribute and sell
• Not contain malware, backdoors, keyloggers, crypto miners, or any malicious code
• Not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Not violate the terms of service of the games they are designed for
• Function as described in the listing

3. Product Review

All new product listings are carefully reviewed for security vulnerabilities, malicious code, code quality, performance issues, and listing completeness before being published on the marketplace. Products may be:

• Approved — Published automatically to the marketplace
• Flagged — Queued for human review by our team (typically within 24-48 hours)
• Rejected — Not published, with specific reasons provided

We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or reject any listing at our discretion. Repeated violations will result in account termination.

4. Pricing & Fees

You set the price for your products. Prices must be in USD. The Platform takes a 15% commission on each sale. You receive the remaining 85%.

• The commission rate may be adjusted by the Platform with 30 days' notice
• Custom commission rates may be negotiated for high-volume creators
• Free products (price of $0) have no commission
• You may run sales and discounts at your discretion

5. Payouts

Creator payouts are processed instantly on every sale via Stripe Connect or PayPal Commerce Platform, depending on your connected payout method.

• You must connect a valid Stripe Connect or PayPal account to receive payouts
• The Platform is not responsible for delays caused by your payment provider
• You are responsible for all taxes on your earnings — we do not withhold taxes
• We may issue 1099 forms to US-based creators as required by law

6. Chargebacks & Fraud Protection

The Platform absorbs all chargeback costs. You will never lose money from a chargeback. If a buyer files a chargeback, we handle the dispute process and absorb any resulting losses. Your payout is not affected.

However, if we determine that you are involved in fraudulent activity (such as colluding with buyers to generate chargebacks), your account will be permanently terminated and you may be subject to legal action.

7. Customer Support

You are expected to provide reasonable support for your products through the per-plugin support thread system. This includes:

• Responding to bug reports in a timely manner
• Providing installation help when reasonable
• Keeping your products updated for compatibility with game updates

Creators who consistently ignore support requests may have their listings suspended.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to your products. By listing on RogueDepot, you grant us a non-exclusive license to:

• Display, promote, and distribute your product listings on the Platform
• Use your product name, description, and screenshots in marketing materials
• Analyze your code for security and quality review purposes
• Cache and serve your files to authorized buyers

This license terminates when you remove your product from the Platform, except for files already purchased by buyers (they retain download access).

9. Exclusivity

There is no exclusivity requirement. You are free to sell your products on any other marketplace simultaneously (Codefling, uMod, CurseForge, your own website, etc.). We encourage creators to sell on RogueDepot as an additional channel.

10. Cross-Platform Import

We provide tools to import your listings from other marketplaces. By using the import feature, you confirm that you have the right to distribute the imported products and that they comply with this Agreement. Imported products undergo the same review process as new listings.

11. Prohibited Content

The following types of products are prohibited:

• Cheats, hacks, exploits, or tools designed to give unfair advantages in multiplayer games
• Products that circumvent copy protection or DRM
• Stolen, decompiled, or pirated content
• Products containing obfuscated code designed to hide malicious functionality
• Empty, placeholder, or non-functional products
• Products that harvest user data without clear disclosure

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. If you wish to stop selling:

• Unpublish your listings or delete your creator account
• Pending payouts will still be processed
• Existing buyers retain access to their purchased files

We may terminate your creator account for violations of this Agreement. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and allow you to resolve issues before termination, except in cases of severe violations (malware, fraud, etc.).
