Rich mineral deposits, deep-water harbors, and strategic military installations transformed the archipelago into one of the most heavily fortified regions in the known world. Railways connected distant settlements. Quarries carved mountains into dust. Refineries burned day and night, while research facilities pushed the boundaries of science beyond what should have been possible.
Then... everything stopped.

No warning.
No evacuation.
No explanation.
The workers vanished.
Military checkpoints were abandoned where soldiers made their final stand. Mining camps fell silent. Entire towns were left untouched, as if their inhabitants had simply disappeared between one sunrise and the next.
